6) Registration Rules

  • Only one event can be entered among events with the same number (e.g. 01 Singles Group A/B or Ladies).
  • Medley Singles and U Series cannot be entered at the same time. Players entering Medley Doubles cannot enter the Championships or the School Competition.
  • Groups A/B/C of all open events are assigned by the organiser according to the declared PPD/MPR, based on the DARTSBEAT (DBS) rating. Group A, the Championships, U Series and the School Competition have no rating restriction.
  • All players must declare their darts rating truthfully, otherwise they will be placed in the highest group. If the 01 PPD and Cricket MPR ratings differ in level, the higher level applies.
  • The Ladies group is for female players only.
  • U Series age requirements: U23 born 4 Dec 2003 - 3 Dec 2008; U18 born 4 Dec 2008 - 3 Dec 2011; U15 born 4 Dec 2011 - 3 Dec 2014; U12 born 4 Dec 2014 - 31 Dec 2018. The organiser may adjust the age groups according to entries.
  • Participation is voluntary. Players must have basic darts skills and be in good health. Players under 18 must submit the Voluntary Participation Responsibility and Risk Notice signed by a parent/guardian.
  • Information required: event(s), name, gender, ID card/travel permit/passport number, nationality/region, darts rating, and the signed risk notice (minors).

7) Competition Rules

  • Rules follow the Chinese Darts Competition Rules.
  • Roll call: a player who fails to show up after three calls within 10 minutes loses the match (in the knockout stage the opponent advances directly).
  • All matches use alternating throw-first. The first leg is decided by a coin toss, then diddle for the bull; the player/team closest to the bull centre throws first in odd legs, and the order alternates in the following legs.
  • 6 practice darts before each match (3 darts for team matches).
  • In 01 games, if the leg is not finished within the round limit, both sides throw for the bull in the order of the leg; the dart closest to the bull centre wins.
  • If a dart on the board is not scored correctly, report to the referee, who will correct the score. If a machine malfunctions or scores incorrectly, stop the match immediately, do not remove the darts from the board, and call the referee.
  • A leg ends immediately when the winning dart is thrown. Machine data prevails; if the winning dart hits the board but is not scored, the actual landing point prevails and the staff will adjust the score.
  • Equipment: DARTSBEAT electronic dart machines; bull height 173cm; no seated events. Players must bring their own soft-tip darts and accessories.
  • For doubles and team events, both sides must confirm the player order before each match; it cannot be changed during the match.
  • A referee team handles technical arbitration, check-in and roll call. Please contact the referee team for any special situation.
  • Teams or individuals seriously violating the competition discipline may receive additional penalties from the organising committee; a team boycotting the competition will be disqualified.

8) Forfeit & Boycott

  • The following are regarded as forfeit/boycott: not completing the scheduled matches without force majeure and without the organiser's approval; refusing to continue an unfinished match as instructed by the referee; refusing to play as arranged by the organiser; not arriving within 10 minutes after roll call starts.
  • If one side forfeits/boycotts at roll call, the other side wins. If both sides forfeit/boycott, neither side gets a result for the match (zero points).
  • A suspended player, or a player not yet allowed to play, who plays for a team, and ineligible or impersonating players, are treated as forfeit.
  • A team or individual withdrawing midway will be disqualified from all remaining matches and treated as forfeit.

9) Discipline

  • A discipline committee handles violations by staff and players.
  • No unreasonable delay: after the opponent finishes the turn, removes the darts and the turn changes, the player must complete the turn within 45 seconds.
  • Players may not score by touching the dartboard for any reason.
  • While a player is throwing, others must stand at least 0.6m behind the player and must not make noise or disturb the player.
  • If equipment is damaged or lost during a match, the player may use up to 2 minutes to repair or replace it, accompanied by a referee.
  • For an emergency, a player may leave once, for up to 5 minutes, between legs, accompanied by a referee.
  • Players who disobey referees/staff or behave seriously rudely will be penalised up to disqualification depending on severity.

10) Prizes (RMB)

Total prize money: RMB 317,800. Prize money is subject to 20% individual income tax, borne by the winner and withheld by the organising committee.
